Handouts
Handouts will consist of the vocabulary terms linked under presentation of key concepts and skills, the workshop agenda, graphic organizer, activity rubric, tutorial guide, and workshop evaluation.
Pre-training activityTo meet the needs of all participants, a introduction to technology will be held the day prior. Staff members will be paired with "experienced" users based on their willingness to divulge their history with creating blogs. A guide will be given to all participants as a reference during the workshop. Open discussions will be encouraged, along with honest feedback.
Presentation of key concepts and skills
Key concepts and skills will be done in a pre-training activity, as well as during a designated block during the multimedia workshop. Participants will be issued key vocabulary terms, as well as participate interactively to identify and enhance thier knowledge regarding key concepts and skills.
Authentic assessment assignment
Participants will be required to create their own classroom blog on wordpress. Individuals will work independently to create their own blog, however they will work collaboratively to respond to posts and comments.
